About
I am a public Montessori educator with over 17 years of experience working in classrooms, coaching teachers, and supporting school communities. My work is grounded in a deep belief that Montessori education, when implemented with intention, has the power to create more just, humanizing learning environments.
Throughout my career, I have seen both the strengths and the limitations of how Montessori is practiced in public settings. This has led me to focus on bridging Montessori philosophy with culturally responsive pedagogy in ways that honor students’ identities, experiences, and communities.
I support educators and schools through workshops, consulting, and speaking, helping them move beyond neutrality and toward practices that are both authentic to Montessori and responsive to the world children live in.
This work is not about adding something new to Montessori, but about returning to its deeper purpose: education as a pathway toward equity, dignity, and peace.
